Am I in?:)

we're up to 28 members. figured I would put out an updated list. I've been in contact with a rep at Cort and I hope to get us some specials in the coming months on everything from shirts all the way up to basses. also, when Cort puts any stuff on clearance out to the retailers, we may have a shot at getting the same prices, stay tuned!
there are some holes in the numbers because my comp crashed in the middle of this wonderfull club, and I was wrong where I had left off. anyway, here's the list.

Hey! I've been #27 for like 2 months now - its even in my sig & even worse...I've fallen completely out of the club it seems. I even own 2 Cort basses!

That's it - I'm not sending in my membership dues check! :D

(j/k)! I'm happy being in the club no matter what number I am. :)

Woohoo! - looks like I'm upwardly mobile. My birthday is on a 14th, so I'll go with that. I'll update my sig. Thanks Mark!

I'm not sure what number I am. I posted a pic of my GB74 back on page 4.

Anyway, for those who have a GB74/5, if you have considered a change in pickups, which ones do you think would best suit it?
I'm mostly after a good fingerstyle tone, but something that will respond pretty well to slap as well.

Keep up the great work, MadMark! :)

My Q-tuned Cort Curbow 4 is now tuned to piccolo tuning (E-G an octave above standard bass tuning), and sounds amazing! It feels right, to, since it's both small, lightweight, and has a very slim and fast neck.

On the advice of one of your cort members I would like to know what you all think about this Cort B5 bass that is up for sale used (actually unbeknown to me hes also a member on here).

Its definitely a great looking bass but ive never owned a 5er before, just played them a few times at music stores. It didnt really bother me after some getting used to though. I want a new Bass for Rock on a tight university student budget. I say rock but I pretty much will play anything so versatility is going to be key as well. Id love to hear some opinions.

take number 16, looks like i missed you too.....

as far as the B5, I own one. I LOVE the wenge neck. nice and fast, yet I def feel like I can dig in if I need to. I prefer the bolt on neck.
the bass is super versitile. I use it in a cover band I play in, and it covers all genre's, rock, funk, you name it. you can't go wrong with that bass.

If you're going to upgrade...consider the pre-amp first. I just swapped the pre in my GB-75 with a 3 band pre out of a Lakland 55-01....o my goodness, what a difference that made. The mids are much much more usable. It took a little bit of drilling for the extra knob, but nothing major. I plan to post some pics once I get my knobs in for it. But defintiely consider that first...the pups are decent and new pups are still going to sound like the preamp once you swap 'em....just my $.02 though...
