While I disagree with the fascist "club" system, I do own a Cort Action bass. Got it at cost, and it's a great beater bass. I'm glad that the Action series (and all but the GB basses) have a 1.6" nut, which is good for dudes like me that like beefier necks.

Only thing I really want to upgrade is the bridge, and that's only because I string BEAD, and (like most closed channel bridges) it doesn't like non-tapered B strings, and I prefer them. So I'll probably slap a budget open channel bridge on there, but that's really it. Sounds good, plays good, stays in tune. What more can you ask for?

I took delivery of a brand new RB5 today. That is th now discontinued Elrick model. This one is a swamp ash body, flame maple tops, 3 piece maple neck, rosewood FB, 35" scale, 24 fret (plus a zero fret!), sporting Bart MK pickups (same as Skyline 5501, fwiw) 19mm spacing at the bridge. NICE bass. I'll get pics up soon. For starters, this thing is light, but solid. It balances very well. It sounds REALLY good, very even and smooth. The electronics work well, allowing quite a bit of variation in tone. The 35" scale, 3 piece neck, deep bolt on neck seem to help in the "low B" department. Cort is CLEARLY paying attention to all the other brands' stuff, and learning, and changing. Granted, this bass was designed by Rob Elrick, but Cort made the thing. Speaking of Cort, I just sold a Tribby L2500, which was VERY solid. I happened to stop at a Sam Ash today, played a few Skyline basses, all VERY VERY nice.

Pics later!

Should you want to sell this in the future, please pm me. Nice bass.
:D
I got the natural GB75 last week and I am loving this bass. Great value and sweet tone. Real versatile and light. I played it at a rehearsal and church this weekend and the slap tone just punched through. I put mine with saxnbass to compare the two different color schemes.

What member number do I get?:D

love this bass, great sounds, but cant date it, and it does not have the cort emblem on the headstock. rather says designed by cort research. has the bart mk1 pups, and 5 knobs. have tried pulling the volume knob to test push/pull active, but no avail. can someone help identify this a4 for me? is there any switch with the knob?
