Yes, one thing that has really impressed me about the cab is the way Fender has crossed over the tweeter so seamlessly. It is not like the early SWR cabs (which I did enjoy) that produced a great amount of hiss and clack. No, the Fender tweeter/horn is subtle and not too pronounced at frequencies that you don't need - one of those that you don't notice is there until it is turned off. Very, very nicely integrated into the whole system - much in the way that the Bergantino cabs achieve the same end. And you can't get much greater praise than that IMO.

That was my impression of the 610, seamless and cohesive.

Well, I am now giving serious consideration to getting a Super Bassman 300 to go with the 100T. I am enjoying the 100T so much that for the odd occasion when I might need a little more clean grunt I want to stick with the same tone. My local muso shop has a 300 arriving shortly and they will let me take it away for a play. Now that I am familiar with the setup it will be a very different trial to the first time I played one. If I like it I expect I will trade in the Orange AD200, and run the 300 into the neo 610. Just means that for practices and small gigs I would take the 100T and the 300 would be there when needed. Plus I really want to try the 300 through my Bergantino NV215 cab.

I had a chance to confirm two gigs ago that the 100T definitely runs out of gas in 25 watt mode with flat wounds. That is if drums are playing full-bore and no FOH support. On gigs where you can't really blow & go it would probably be beautiful, and as I said I dig in really hard on flats, so that's probably some of it as well. But I still loved it in 25 watt mode with the roundwound bass. We played a gig this past Saturday night at my favorite place, which is where we played when I did my original 100T review. The 100T/410 Neo has gradually changed some over the months, and now I gotta say it's "more perfect"? (?) It's producing exactly the amount of power tube distortion @ 100 watts that I was hoping for originally, but importantly not losing punch in doing so. On the first gig it gave me the impression of a lot of clean headroom, but it wasn't quite delivering the grind, which I was using the overdrive to get. Now it's all there.

610 NEO is on its way!!! WED it comes Then a gig on thurs. Ill give an opinion between my goliath III and the 610. hoping to move more air (when my drummer is slammin dem skins!) and a lil less bottom. Its sucks i have to order something from 900 miles away to test it but where i live sucks.

No, the new Bassman line is not a Sunn. The 300 Pro was.

The lead GP tried it with a Marshall 212 and a Les Paul Deluxe and a Strat. I thought it sounded great with the LP.

What happened to the 300 Pro, I've never seen one here in Yurop, practically non existent.. Catalogue model. Did it ever went into production, and why no dealership/sales.

Not directly related to the new PRO series, but it seems that some of the Model T designs ended up in the Fender Evil Twin.

Turlu: I swapped out all the power tubes in my 100T for Winged Cs and all the preamp tubes for JJs. As I have posted previously, yes it did make a difference. Tighter lows, slightly more focused midrange and I think (but am not sure) a little less open at the very top. It certainly appeared to have more headroom, in that I can go louder before it audibly breaks up - this may or may not be an advantage to you. The original tubes were all GTs as in the Super Bassman. I got a good deal on the Winged Cs and already had the JJs which made it worthwhile, yes there was a clear difference and I like it but I don't know that I would bother if I had not been able to get a good deal on the tubes.

branimir: I think you are confused by all the different models :confused:

And on an exciting note, my Super Bassman 300 head should arrive in the country by the end of the month. It has my name on it if I want it :hyper:

hey tim im loving my sb300, love cruising around the half throttle mark knowing youve got a ton of grunt if you need to put your foot down. Im hoping your gonna love your test drive, and look forward to hearing your opinion .
