Only a few months now, but this ends a one-year cycle of other amps and cabinets coming and going

What Do You Love About It?

Im 100% happy

I use miscellaneous amplifiers that I borrow (usually an old Sunn beta bass with a 4x12 generic cab)

I use a Hofner Violin bass and a J-bass with fuzz pedals (Muffs, DS-1, ODB-3)

I play mainly Sludge with Post Metal and Prog influences.

Ive been slappin da bass for around 4 years

I love it because its loud, fuzzy and cheap. (It costs under $750)

Live - Acoustic 360 or a 370 through a 408 cabinet, or both if they need to hear me on the moon.

Venue - anywhere somebody will let me play.

Bass - EB-2, P-Bass, Thunderbird

Love about it - Each bass sounds just like itself, but somehow better, fuller, richer, crisper and audible at the back of the room even if it's not turned up much. Volume is never an issue, so it never farts out. Being able to play at lower volumes and still cut through is great.

Recordings or video - Nope. Be grateful.

100% "happy". Maybe only 95% "satisfied".

My rig is killer. I change gear like crazy but I have had my current rig for over a year, which is a long time for me. Also, considering that my first Mesa M9 blew up and had to be completely replaced, it says a lot about how much I love the tone as i bought a new replacement M9 immediately.

What is your Rig?
Mesa Carbine M9 thru a Sadowsky SA410 cab
