I've got s sweet SR506 (with the sweet battery door!), which I absolutely love and a Fieldy k5. I love how thin and fast the necks are! This way I can get sweet growl and still be able to fly!

Which ones are the most desirable and why?
I have the tendency to like thin necks.
Will some of you guys help me out here? They make so many models.
I know someone is going to ask a lot of questions; 4 or 5 string or/and NTB and so on. But what I'm looking for here is what makes them desirable? (Attributes)

Go to Guitar Center and try out various models. You will get tons of advice, but you really don't know until you tried one out. There are of course common areas of sound, SRX - rock/metal, SR-all round, ATK-fun fun fun MusicMan sound, and so on...
The Soundgears and SRX basses are known for their thin necks.....seriously, my Jazz bass neck feels a bit chunky compared to my SR800's.
I'm getting lots of mileage out of this pic today...

My Ibanez BTB400QM. Served me well over the past 5 years.

Okay. The first instrument I ever played was an Ibanez, my first (and second...and third
) bass was an Ibanez. I live, breathe, and think Ibanez basses and I always feel at home on them. They are my favorite basses (and g***ars) on the planet.
Sorry about the crappy photograph, but there's weird lighting in the living room. If you want a better one or more detail on one or another, I'd me much obliged to provide it!
I feel bad about having the headstock of the Destroyer hidden behind the guitar 
, but I have enough photos of it...well, not enough. but a few 
0) Ibanez Dreadnought Acoustic ('88) Always sitting in the living room and it's gotten a LOT of use. It's a late 80s Martin ripoff and it sounds sweet as sweet can be. It has a really luscious, warm attack and sounds awesome with a slide!
1) Ibanez BTB 450QM ('??)--my first bass. I got it at a mom-and-pop music store when I lived in Germany. The output is spotty and the electronics aren't to my liking. But the neck is to die for.
2) Ibanez Destroyer II ('83) I got it about a year ago on eBay. Ever since I saw the Iron Maiden "Beast Over Hammersmith" DVD...I HAD to have a Destroyer (once I found out what those wacky guitars were)!
My Destroyer has the most comfortable neck ever and buttery scale length. Great for those bluesy Dave Murray-like bends and it holds my brain together.
The stock pickup (not sure if it's a DiMarzio or a DiMarzio ripoff) slays. Still has the original boomerang strap buttons, which I love. It also looks WICKED! 
I have big plans for it--I'm going to install an X2N-7 in between the bridge and the P pickup, I'm going to install a Kahler tremolo on it, and then wire it in stereo.
3) Ibanez Roadstar II ('84) (black with red pinstripe binding) I found it at our local Guitar Satan when I came in poking around last President's day. It was on the floor and I hadn't seen anything like it! I played it and I had one of those "I can actually play this thing!!" moments. Put it on hold for a day, got the money I had been saving, came in the next day, and put it on layaway. It's gorgeous. Might get a Kahler one day, too
4) Ibanez Roadstar II ('85) (5 string) My Nile bass!
Found it in September at my favorite local music store, The Trading Musician. It is a black metal machine. Traded in an '87 Charvel 3B for it (which I kinda regret...but not really) as the down payment. I found it in the shadows behind some hollowbodies--even the salesfolk couldn't spot it. Kinda goes to show how obsessed I am over these things 
I had seen only one on eBay in 3 years of keeping my eye on the search "Ibanez bass". I was just beginning to regret not having been more interested when I found this one in almost mint condition with the zazzy mobster-style cheesedick hardshell case. Kinda tricky to play (such narrow string spacing), but it sounds so incredible. It's a 4 string Roadstar with a different bridge and headstock, more or less. It's also a LOT heavier than your standard Roadstar 4 string. The pickups are a little fuzzy around the edges, but they are crystal clear. To put it short, the thing makes me feel like a god.

Proud owner of a severely abused UE-405. Am I in? If it helps I respect all Ibanez basses, especially SR 6 strings.
Heres my lil' BTB Practice Bass.
I always wondered what the BTB 6 strings were like. Never played one...always kinda wanted to.
