Roots and fifths and a little extra.
I play my 505 mostly, but I still like my SR300. Plays like a dream and only cost me $250 new. You can see me rockin' it in this kickstarter video.

Would like to join the club. First bass I just found the on E-Bay and picked up in US today.....just plugged into IPad and played first time before this photo...what an amazing bass! Apparently one of ten in existence according to "Danimal" here on TB....
The other is my BTB 1305e...

My wife bought me this Road Gear 500 for my 30th birthday a few years ago. I can't put it down.

I bought this GSR 200 as a back up about 12 years ago. I played it pretty much exclusively until I got the RD 500. I put Duncan p/u's in it and Carvin hardware on it. I've been offered $500 cash for it, but since I've been layering it with stickers for 12 years, I can't give it up.

I also have a 6 string Talman acoustic/electric. I've owned and sold or traded a GSR 400 4 string fretless & a Gio 6 string electric.
Thanks for looking!
Please and Thank You.

mtshaw315, THANK YOU for your insights on RD 500! You make it sound even Gooder than I was anticipating. AND..... I took your advice. Went and picked it up right after I read your Last Post! Bought, come to find out, from a fellow TB'er!
Anyway, it's in Terrific Shape and I am DIGGIN' the Low End that this thing Makes! Once I figure out what I want it tuned to, I'll buy some strings and send it off to the Tech at WA Guitar for a set up, fret level and crown, and a brass nut. Will be Uber Good!!!
Thanks again mtshaw315!!!Without further A-DO.....

Thanks again, K! I am stoked on it! I think its gonna be a Player for me For Sure.Enjoy that bass and mod it to your heart's content (I just sold this to Geoph; was my first bass in over a decade, loved it). I may have to give up my member standing here, though, as I have no Ibbys left.![]()

I'll keep you informed on what transformations she makes.
Was nice to meet you, Btw. Thanks again for the great deal.![]()
Glad I could help! I love mine and I'm sure you'll love yours. It looks like we have slightly different neck p/u's though. Either way, you'll get a lot of workable tones with it. Enjoy!
