Hmmm.... and I was just looking at the bill of sale for it a few weeks ago. I'd say I bought this in 1996.

That's a testament of what a great bass it is. It looked like one I saw on eBay recently.

All of his woods are very well aged. I don't think this is any issue with his instruments. While they do get better with age, they are amazing from day one.

OMG, I want a BSR5WTE so bad. But I already have 3 Smiths, two were purchased in the past 8 months. If I come home with another, my wife is gonna FLIP OUT. Smh. But I won't get rid of my other Smith basses to get one. They are just all so awesome, and I don't want someone to enjoy them when I can.
