I bought a used purple Lull once. I tried really hard to talk myself into liking that color, but just couldn't do it.

Humm I bought Brad's shell pink PT4, and it's done nothing but grow on me.
I really tried with the pink and I just couldn't vibe. I think it had as much to do with lack of wood grain as anything. If it had been trans-pink, it would have probably hit me different.

I bought a Lull. It was pink. Even though I loved the bass, I didn't love the pink.
So I sold my Lull.
This morning I woke up to an Instagram post of another Lull. This one's not pink (It's Honey Burst. And it has 24 frets!).
So... I bought another Lull.
I don't think I'll be selling it anytime soon.

So this just showed up at my office. Spencer even sent a photo. I'll take some better photos and post an official NBD in the next day or two. I just thought the Lull club would like this. 
Last year I was thinking about a honey burst Lull.
Yours is simply amazing, such a great color for a bass (IMO) and the birdseye on that board is just wow.

I've been on a string hunt for my Lull. The only brand I could find where I can get a separate XL scale for the B was Daddario strings. I like them but I don't love them.
I just picked up a new Olinto P bass. It is strung with Labella RX nickel strings. I really like the feel & tone of these strings. After a little searching, I found out that Labella sells single XL B-strings on their website for 9.95 each. So $30 all in for a mixed scale set of Labella strings is a pretty nice win.
Just wanted to share in case anyone else has been on a similar search.

I've had my P4 for about a month now, and I'm pretty impressed on how easy to play it is, and how much care went into the fretwork and setup. I have a Fender Custom Shop '59 Precision and an actual vintage 1966 Precision, and my Lull by far plays better than them both. The finish on the back of the neck is so smooth, it makes it hard to go back to any other bass. I'm already thinking about my next Lull!

I watched that one on Instagram. Such a cool bass. I talked with Spencer about it. I'm thankful you bought it because I was really tempted. I actually dig the tort guard. But black works well too. Congrats! They're the best basses.
