Anyone know what Mike Lull plays, himself? I remember reading it was a P4. Just curious.
Mike has a few basses. one of his main basses is a gold P4 w/brazilian r/w fretboard. another is an NRT4 in burgundy mist. Mike's story behind that one is it was a special order for a japanese dealer, and once it was received they claimed they wanted it in trans burgundy, not burgundy mist. Mike built them another one and kept the BM for himself. He's also got some old fenders as well. a really beat up '59 P which was what his P4 neck is based on. he had it at the shop a while ago and showed it to me. I asked to play it and he says "sure, just don't scratch it". funny guy.

hope i can get there this year.
Are you participating in any of the nightime GTG's/jams?
I will probably end up at either JT Schmids, or the jam at Premiere Music.
would be fun to meet up
Well some things are up in the air still...I have a gig on Saturday @ the lowup in Longbeach on Saturday. Which means I cannot do the Premiere music hang...(I might stop by though to talk to Steve, since my set is later in the night).

My Lull P4 and V4 both have the Hipshot A-style bridge on them. Do you guys happen know which spacing of that bridge Mike uses? Hipshot makes it in .656, .687, .718, .750, and .787 spacing. I was curious which of those my Lull's have on them.

My M5 has the .718 version (18.237mm)... Probably the .750 (19mm) version for 4 string???
