They do not - I was told it would be a very expensive option if they did - closest you can get is the reinforced gig bag upgrade.Do these come with hardshell cases?
Thanks. It makes sense - it seems like a lot of instrument for the price. They do not - I was told it would be a very expensive option if they did - closest you can get is the reinforced gig bag upgrade.
They come with a nice padded gig bag, but you can up grade to a nice soft case for 90 euros, or to a gorgeous leather gig bag (I have used one for a couple of years) for 289 euros. This is on the accessories page on the configurator.Do these come with hardshell cases?
Adrian just told me, a few minutes ago, that they can/will do the matte metallic finishes....I used the word "matte" with him. As he replied that it made no sense, I then emailed him photos of basses with such finish. Still no answer.
Wait what? In what context did he say that?
I have to ask, but i would guess, at first only on request and with a little time also in the Config-Fantastic news. Are they going to be an option on the configurator?
Are you implying that me asking for a matte metallic finish is the reason behind this new option then?![]()
I wouldn't worry about the age of the strings on a new bass. If nobody has been playing on them, then there's effectively no aging.I received my new Jake P/J 5 string a few days ago from a dealer on Reverb.com. I love the bass!! I noticed on the "build card" that it must have been sitting around for a while. It showed a date of 6/2018. I was thinking that I might change the strings and it does show the strings that are on the bass at time of build.
but I am curious as to who supplies his strings so I know for the future. I typically have been using DR Pure Blues or Fat Beams (Nickle and SS) and wonder how much different they might sound on this particular bass.
