I am a maruszczyk owner as well. But I also found something strange. The truss rod on my Jazzus 4 works reverse way? Is it just on my bass or all maruszczyk is like that? Actually I checked the manual which came with the bass and it looks like it should work the opposite way than how It works with any bass. Why they make it this way? Thanks for your answers

I ordered this mid-April and it arrived today. Thrilled with this LIGHT WEIGHT beauty. (7 pounds, 6 ounces) Can't wait until Thursday to take it to the theater for my steady show gig. Has the Aguilar HC J5 pickups. My first choice was the 60's vintage but Adrian (the owner) ran into a faulty/defective pick-up and it would take to long to send it back to Aguilar for replacement or repair...also they do NOT make this pickup any longer. The substitute is the Hum Canceling J pickups. I am not crazy about the raised pole pieces, but it is what it is!!

I was ready to give up because I couldn't set the bass up to my liking. Then decided to check the documentation it came with. Frustrated me for days...

I got Delano pickups with no exposed pole pieces for that exact reason.

Ordered closed covers on mine for this too. All my exposed pole pickups are gross inside of two years and they chew up my fingers.

Thanks for your answers. Another thing. I really love my Jazzus, but I would need the string height just a bit lower. Do you recommend to change the bridge which can go lower a bit or shim the neck? Thanks

Your bridge saddle pieces are already bottomed out and you need to go lower?

Yes, that's the case. I am not a big fan of this type of bridges because of this.

I believe you can shim the neck to change the angle.
