The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

That Mayones looks sweet as well. Don't they both have Agular DCB's, do they sound similar?
It's funny, yeah they have the exact same electronics the same preamp and same pickups, same Wenge finger board and they both sound great.
However, the Cazpar is just punchier/clearer to my (and the band's) ears. I played each of them with flat EQ on the basses during sound check and my guitarist looked at me and said that headless sounds better, and did to me as well.

EDIT- it's all about the pickup placement that's why the sound is more aggressive and mid-forward vs the pickup placement in the Patriot which are more towards the neck (P'ish).

What's with that dampening thingy on the Cazpar? Doesn't it get in the way?
It's a fret wrap and is always pushed over the nut (not in use) until I want to pull it just to the edge of the nut for extra muting when doing tapping. Honestly, I mute with both hands and really don't need at all as my playing is really clean - I think it's a habit at this point to have it on all of my basses.

That's cool looking! Can you also post a shot of the front?
Your wish is my command.

Just to see if I'm getting the right thing... Did your order your bass thru the dealer OR you just picked one "in stock" from the dealer? Thanks
Mine was a custom order. Custom in a lot of ways, actually. I asked for a lot of things that are not on the configurator. Some I didn't get, many I did. For example, the matte green paint on the back of the neck, I paid extra for that. I asked for, and got, a stainless steel zero fret; a cutaway on the lower bout for extra finger room (a feature on the Joker model on both upper and lower bouts, if you want to see what I'm talking about)(actually, you can see it in the above photos -- it's what gives the bass a bit of a can-opener look to it); a more slender neck (20mm deep at the first fret rather than the usual 21mm), and control knobs with glow-in-the-dark numbers on them. I did not get the custom 12th fret marker I wanted. That's all I can think of at the moment.

Anyway, all this went through the dealer. Probably a good thing, too. All of my questions and requests had the dealer as a filter. If all of those communications had gone directly to Adrian, there's no telling at what point he might have gotten fed up with me. But in the end, I got a beautiful bass that I continue to be very happy with, with non-standard features I wanted, with a dealer's discount on top of it all.

Hey at everone,

Once my custom Maruszczyk is finished being built, Adrian is ordering me a custom hardcase for my bass on his end (which it will be shipped in).
Adrian said he has worked with the custom hardcase company many times.

My question is:
Has anyone else ordered a custom hardcase with their custom Maruszczyk, which Adrian has arranged for you on his end ? ?
