The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

I'm a Fender guy that's just about had it with being a Fender guy. It would seem to me that for the price of a regular same old, same old AP2 Fender, you can get a stunning Maruszczyk instead. The colour choices are amazing! Their 2-tone burst is nothing like Fender's and much nicer. Just stunning! 21 frets too! I wants me a 32" scale Jake.
Yes! Ikr? I made up a stunning lefty Jake last night that you would never see come out of Fender in a million years.
That's my biggest gripe* with Fender -- they offer a pitiful variety of options when they could very easily offer much more.

*Actually, lack of options and spotty quality control.

It's here...I'll unbox tonight

Here it is. This Jake shorty is a beast! I waited till this morning to unbox and took some pics. It is my day off today so I can spend some time playing it. I am extremely happy with it. It is nice and light at 7.2 lbs. The sound is huge! I was surprised that the Aguilar OBP-2SK preamp is wired for 18v. They added a Hipshot string retainer to it that was not in the original couch pic. I guess they felt it needed one. I'm glad it is Hipshot to match the rest of the Hipshot hardware.
Setup is low and perfect for me. Added some chrome Abalone knobs that I had to it also. I decided to swap the Hipshot clover tuners over to my Silver sparkle Elwood and put the Lolipop tuners from the Elwood on the Jake. I like the Lolipop tuners better on P basses. :D

Specs: 30" Jake
Body: Swamp Ash with Quilted Maple top in trans Turquoise.
Neck: Birdseye Maple with Ebony fretboard (abalone fb dots, luminlay 3mm blue side dots and carbon rods)
Nut: 38mm
Radius: 9.5"
Pickups: Delano Xtender (reversed x2)
Preamp: Aguilar OBP-2SK
Bridge: USA Hipshot B style aluminum
Tuners: USA Hipshot Ultralite 1/2"

I wonder if a frog would look good with lollipop tuners. Not a fan of the y type.
