Brilliant. I had a hunch that's how it went based on how it sounded. Was pretty sure series was down. It was definitely the beefiest and loudest setting. But sometimes Up (parallel) sounded fairly beefy, depending on my blend position, and it confused me. Doesn't take much.On my Elwood 5L it's Parallel Up, Single Middle, Series Down. I've noticed other contemporary passive basses tend to follow the same pattern. Generally series is going to sound significantly fatter and louder than parallel. Parallel is usually marginally louder than single, and is hum-free.
