The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

Does anyone have, or have seen, a Maruszczyk with double P pickups? It's something I've been considering and curious about how they'd execute it.

use the configurator at public peace to check it out

I'm quite sure they'd do a double P, if requested. However, I think that if you want a double P bass, you are better off mapping the P pickups on an existing bass to get an idea of exactly what you want, placement wise. (I've done this by using paper cutouts the shape of a P pickup, and just moving them around.) Otherwise, you are just trusting their judgment and luck.

When I ordered my Frog, I used the Configurator. I ordered a standard double J configuration. What I got wasn't quite what I expected, as the bridge pickup was located closer to the bridge on my bass than it was in the configuration. I would have preferred the pickup to be where it was in the configuration, but I didn't care much about it since the rest of the bass was so gorgeous.

What about the offset green dots?
On my bass, I asked for the dots to be in the standard configuration. Otherwise, the dots would have been arranged like they are in the configurator.

The dots on my bass are Luminlay green dots, but it's hard to show that in a daylight photo.

That's gorgeous... is that the transparent two tone purple or bishop?
I selected the transparent two tone purple but after working with Randy at Bass Spotlight, he sent me some purple paint jobs they did and I asked them to color match a different bass they made. As I understand it, they can color match pretty well. If you live in the US work with Randy!
