The Official MARUSZCZYK CLUB!

So the colour did turn out the way you wanted it? That's great to hear.
In honesty....It's not the 'Bruno Blue' that they show on the configurator.....

However, it's not as 'blue' as it looks in photos.....

I'm very happy with the color so all's good.....

I've only been able to pootle around with it a bit this afternoon due to surgeon forbidding me to play yet after my shoulder surgery.....

Bridge pickup sounds enormous.....Pure Music Man...Neck pickup is as Jazzy as any Fender Jazz....

It's going to be a Reggae monster....:bassist:

Pleasing number of sounds available when mixing the two pups....

I'm looking forward to the New Year when Doc says that I can start playing "properly" again....

Which is really good news 'cos I couldn't play properly before.....:woot::whistle:.....

Cheers!....

One thing about color: What you see on a computer monitor or device is not going to look the same on another monitor, never mind in real life. This is equally true in most printed material, as well. The only way to really know what a color is going to look like for sure is to see it in person.

I'd guess what you got was their standard "Bruno Blue" but that it just doesn't look the way it looked on the screen when you ordered. I'm glad you're happy with it!

Wow! Dragons breath! Sounds really cool and one of a kind! You must be excited!

My bass is now over the 12 weeks in the making! Everyday I’m hoping to see the sofa shot! It will not be this week anymore but in January I hope! I send an email about one and a half week ago but I got no respond to that....

Twelve weeks is probably overly optimistic these days. Mine took about 18 to get to my door.

Yeah, I know but you live in the USA after a quick peak at your profile. I live 5 hours away from Maruszczyk shop. But your right though..... I’m a person with GAS problems and very little patience (Probably ADD) so it’s taking too long ;)

I own two MARUSZCZYK basses...
- 34" Elwood (turned into a 1978 Fender)
- 32" Jake

If you want a special wiring, the guys at MARUSZCZYK are very fit!
If you want a very special wiring (MM Big Al wiring for 3 PUs, all "off" = 2 serial) they ask me if it's possible (but only abou 2 or 3 times a year). I live less 100 miles from Aldenhoven. Have never been at his shop but once met Adrian. The MARUSZCZYK guys are really nice and I help if I can (without getting money).

Do you know that the bass player of the "ZDF NeoRoyal" live band also plays an Elwood (natural ash)?!

Here my Elwood... (alder body with "tiger stipes"!)
