Dumb question: MTD's pricing list is all retail; do they offer 'street price' when ordering from them directly?
Agreed call them and they will work out the street price for you.

Thanks! Very helpful. Also, how does ordering work in terms of payment? Do they require 100% payment upon ordering?

What 535 wood combos you all using for rock. I’m used to own a 535 which I loved to death minus the long reach. I’m considering a 534 as a partner to my Saratoga.
The most "growly" MTD I've owned was ash/walnut with an ash/maple neck. My problem with that bass, however, was that, for all its growl, it got a bit lost in the mix compared to my other 535s. Lots of overtones and grind, but not as much note fundamental. My favourite 535 for any style has been an alder/maple with maple neck and rosewood fretboard. What 535 wood combos you all using for rock. Silly question, but what strap is that?
Hey it’s the Damien Erskine signature thing, just without the 2nd shoulder part
It’s made by Gruv gear. I love it!
Also nice Diesel 10 props
Just a fanboy post. Courtesy of bassandbeyond.com. I want to tune BEAD and djent with this bass. Is that a bad thing?

Cool. We need more 4 string MTDs. Here's my 434-22 with Saratoga electronics:

Hopefully, not spam. But I've got this for sale @ $2700. I'm guessing this point didn't escape most MTD'ers attention. I bought it to try it - REALLY nice. I'm too much of a vintagey guy though.

Very nice. What's the wood combo? Is this a 435 or 434?
Today I sent back an NYC Sadowsky for good after they sent me a defective bass...twice.
I have a call scheduled with Michael tomorrow afternoon to discuss a 434 or Super 4...TBD.
