Not a lot of 435s represented, so I’ll carry that flag!

I never insinuated anything. I was stating that some of us don't do social media (other than perhaps TalkBass), and expressing some frustration that businesses sometimes ignore their public websites in favor of all the walled gardens that people like to think are actually the internet. Yes, it is indeed my right not to join those, as it is also my right to point out that a social media presence by itself is incomplete, and overlooks a potential clientele.@red_rhino @MMiller28 MTD posts on Facebook almost daily. It is your choice and right not to join Facebook, but the insinuation was that MTD does not post pictures regularly. It's his decision where he wishes to promote.
The annoying popup that continually prompts me to login to FB or create an account, and then blocks half the viewable page when I decline. The MTD Facebook page and Instagram are all public. No need to sign up to anything. No walled gardens.
I think I’m missing the problem here?
There are quite a few businesses in my area that have websites, but never update them. If you want to know what's on the menu tonight, or make reservations, or get updates about anything, you have to seek out that info on whatever social media site they happen to favor. The annoying popup to continually prompts me to login to FB or create an account, and then blocks half the viewable page when I decline.
I’ve noticed this with a number of bass companies’ websites. It seems as if a large number of companies set up their sites and then just let them sit - sometimes for years - without any updates. While this is frustrating, the reality is that an increasing number of people are heading to social media pages/feeds much more than they are heading to a company’s actual website. Websites are the new business cards and social media pages/presence are the new websites. There are quite a few businesses in my area that have websites, but never update them. My point is that if you have a web presence in the form of a domain, and you are conducting business there, doesn't it make sense to keep that site as updated as you keep your other points of presence? My rant wasn't calling out MTD in particular, just the trend in general, and using MTD as an example of said trend.
How about my upcoming build.Wood combo is Maple burl top, mahogany body, roasted maple neck, and rosewood FB. What you all think about the top and FB I selected, I selected #3 the dark purple FB.

That’s going to look great. Are you going to go with a natural finish or a colour? By the way, I still love the 535 I got from you several years back. How about my upcoming build.Wood combo is Maple burl top, mahogany body, roasted maple neck, and rosewood FB. My 535-24 has super pickups and pre in the traditional 535 position. Sounds great!Has anyone else done the 535 model, but with the Super 5 electronics? I'm doing that with Mike now but I am keeping the pickups in the 535 position (although it's technically a 534).
More your speed?I can’t seem to warm up to (see what I did there?) the sizzle high end of either the pickups or the preamp or both...considering going with the Nordstrand Blades and his 3 band pre to give me a more traditional sound. Of course, any advice would be welcome...
Of all the owners who’ve swapped electronics, what was the reason behind it and what did you do with?
Well there you go! Bart will make these if you ask. But also I find that the stock MTD Barts até great, but in comparison to more trad bass pickups (less flat), they almost always feel to me like they benefit from a low mid or middle mid boost, possibly with a touch of bass boost as well, to sound like what you're more used to. I don't like cutting the treble as much because the slope sounds too gradual to me and cuts off too much of the upper mids by the time I get the highs where I like them.Definitely closer...
Yep, buffer and all.Did you leave in the stock preamp?
