I just reclaimed my T-40. It had been sitting in storage halfway around the world for the past 3 years. Mine looks just like yours and I'm too lazy to take a picture and attach it, so I thought I'd just steal your photo.

I've owned 2 T-40's over the years and a fretless T-20. This T-40 will stay with me- I really do think that they're incredibly underated basses. They weigh a ton, but it's forgivable considering the range of tone that can be found in these basses.
I use a Peavey Combo 115 and a TVX210 cabinet as my main rig right now. Puts out 300 watts and gets very loud.

I think I paid $350. used about 10 years ago...
I put a Carvin J pup in there that I had from another bass but I may change it back to the original Peavey when I get some ambition...U can Google "Pegstone" (my one man band) if ur interested in hearing it or just bored...lotso' links LOL
Although I have been playing bass for about 30 years, I tended to switch back and forth between bass or guitar in different bands. Lately I've spiritually returned 2 bass w/ renewed interest.
