So... It's been quite awhile since I 'trolled' TB forums. But I am still playing and just getting active and joining up with a new band (if this week goes well) and dragged my massive schroeder out of the basement once again after it hibernated for quite awhile.

So while I may be late the the thread (I really was looking for the original megathread), I do have the first 3101212 sold which was actually on the floor of NAMM that year.

So do I get an honorary low club member number? :P

Still using this current setup and axe. The sdgr is my buddies that he is still using also, even though this is a really old shot. Although I have on occasion (and for most of the last year or so) stuck to my Marcus jazz and bassman 400 setup... Different projects, different setups :)

Very cool seeing a 310212. I had a very early one as well.

And just like you Troll, we sometimes even used it as a bar. :D

It is a beast. The size and oddity of it doesn't help either. It replaced an Ampeg BXT stack which were technically heavier, EACH... But they weren't as bad to carry alone.

I still don't have casters on it :( I had some but they didn't work out. I need something beefy that can be popped out easy (like the ones on my old ampegs!). I don't have a dolly for it either although I'd like one. My rack has wheels ;)

I'm considering 'replacing' it with a 1212/1210 stack for ease of moving them around and I think I'd hit close to the same aural assault.

But now that these aren't being made anymore, I can't likely get rid of it either eh?

I just got off the phone with Bassic83 (Thanks Eric!) and we had a really good conversation as to what would fit my needs and how these things come across in real gig situations. This old man is sold! I'm going with the 21012L in Cayenne Rhino. That is if I don't talk myself back into the 410L! I think I'm in a win-win situation!

Hey Dlee-Don't even start to worry  if you'll have enough volume...no problem...you'll have even more with the 410...or get a 410 plus a couple of 12s like I did so you're ready for any situation or tone...Keep us posted... Peace... DAcat #24 ...

I'm in!

I've used my 21012L week in, week out for a couple of years now.

It's coped with everything I've thrown at it effortlessly. It's an easy life, fills big halls, and I love it. As does everone who hears it.

I'm considering trying to trade it for a Schro 410L as I think that may suit my new MESA head more, but... the difference is probably minimal. We'll see...

I got my 410L this week. Wow, is it different from my Goliath III! I'm still breaking it in, slowly. I haven't tried any really low stuff yet, been keeping the EQ flat on my WT-400, playing my passive Jazz bass. What a punchy, responsive cabinet. Completely different, I'm sure it's going to sound better with the band and out front. Sign me up! :hyper: :bassist:

Well things being as they are I was able to pick up a 1212L and a 21012L from members here the board. The 1212L arrived today and I am STUNNED! I ran it with my Firebass and almost fell over! I just had to A/B it with my Ampeg 610 just to get a grasp of the sound coming out of this thing! How can Jorge get this kind of volume and clarity out of this tiny box?! Honestly, the 610 has been demoted to the warehouse,I get the volume and more clarity with this box.OMG,I'm gonna wet my pants when I'm able to run the 2 cabs together.Schroeder Rules!!!! Pics will be posted soon!!!!
