Maybe it's just cuz I'm a simple guy and like my amp to have a few tone controls, but I was unable to get a sound I liked using an Eden head. Too many knobs and I get confused.

Maybe it's just cuz I'm a simple guy and like my amp to have a few tone controls, but I was unable to get a sound I liked using an Eden head. Too many knobs and I get confused.
I keep the WT550 flat 95% of the time. If I play with anything, it's usually decreasing the upper mids a notch or 2.
For a couple of covers (like the Big Head Tod version of Tangerine) I increase the bass and use an EBS chorus for a super spacey, vertigo-inducing vibe.
Damn. No chance in your band drowning you out, aye?I'm running a 1001RB-II with my Schroeder 610L and really diggin' it.
Pretty sold on a 700RB-II really, we'll see wha happa. Cheers.
I used a Gk1001RBII with my 1210R for a few gigs but found my LMII to be louder and fuller sounding so i sold the GK.

Steve didn't take the P Bass, so needless to say after hearing Thursday, it's going into the rotation.
Tech question:
If I combine a 8 ohm cab with a 4 ohm cab I understand my total impedance will be 2.66 but how is the power distributed between the 2 cabs and or speakers and will the 4 ohm see more wattage?
lets say I use a Schroeder 4 ohm 1212L and a Schroeder 8 ohm 410L or the other way around if it makes any difference?

The 4-ohm cab will receive twice the power that the 8-ohm cab does (more or less). In other words the 4-ohm cab will get 2/3 of the available power and the 8-ohm will get 1/3. This would work out well if you have a 4-ohm 4X10 and an 8-ohm 2X10. Everything else being equal, a mono amp would send equal power to each speaker, assuming the 8-ohm cab's speakers are wired in parallel and the 4-ohm cab's speakers are wired series-parallel. This is the conventional wiring method used by most manufacturers.
Schroeder cabs are not wired conventionally, however. I'm sure I wouldn't be giving away any trade secrets if I were to describe the inner workings of my new 410L, but I think you'd be better off asking the man himself. I've only spoken on the phone to him once, but he answered all my questions without hesitation or any BS. Give him a call (after noon though - sounds like it was a party

it's a schroeder 1212l 2nd series rhino with a 1978 Vermona 1020 Power Mixer from the GDR.(German Democratic Republic - former East Germany)
Its a 2 channel transistor amp with EQ that puts out 200 watts at 4 ohms but it feels like a load more (thankfully it has a built in limiter)
For some reason the two sound great together,

For anyone in the Cincinnati Oh area, I stopped in Buddy Roger's in Montgomery today and they have a used Schroeder 1212R for $450, if anyone is in the market. I wish I had the spare cash for it to pair up with the one I've got, but kid #2 will be here in a matter of days
