Bass is loaded with Mike Lull custom T-bird pickups (60’s position)... I believe they’re Mike’s take (RIP) from reverse engineering a few of his personal ‘60s T-birds.

I may have posted this before but I just released it (in the rotation - too many basses, not enough gigs) last weekend and it made me very happy. This all started with a killer price on the Fender alum pg. Always wanted one but only had my '75 P happy with its tort. What could I do. It was 2016.
Stratosphere had a '63 VRI Alder body in Seminole Red and we were off.
Topped with a Warmoth J slim-taper maple/Ind rosewood neck with vintage tint.

I freakin' love my Peavey C-4 so when I saw a C-5 on reverb I just had to get her.
Virtually immaculate, just 3 little dings about 1mm each.

which brings me to a question for anyone who may know (can @kodiakblair please come to the reception desk). Why are some the of the C-4's & C-5's veneered and others are not?
Those are nice...I have always liked those Peavey models

That burner is sweet!!!
I set this set up and dialed it in with standard D tuning using 55-110 slinky's for the video debut next week for the filming of a documentary about the guitarist in my blues trio. Never tried slinky's before and they are clear. I dig 'em.

The latest addition, actually bought off Reverb at the same time as my Peavey C-5 but this one took a week to get here. Again she's immaculate, not a single mark on her and a joy to play.
My new to me Dean Skull Crusher. The graphics are over the top, but they are what initially drew me to it. Fun to play, and the jump to 35" scale from my two short scales wasn't as drastic as I thought - the active electronics with 2 band EQ is a bigger learning curve.
