Thats cause your on the wrong message board Tom....

I guess I would have expected to see that under the "Tom's Fretless" thread, and/or to have received an e-mail notification of a new post to the "Graduating Class" thread (and I did not receive a notice, though I am subscribed and received notices in the past ).

Regardless, wow! It looks fantastic! Thanks. :)

I'm not getting my email notifications either...

However; as you would expect, the bass looks a million times better in person. It really does.

Well, the bass came today. I am underwhelmed. It is very light, it sounds pretty good, plays ok, but I'm not sure I can get over the looks. It just looks so akward....the offset body, the headstock shape....I guess I'm pretty shallow when it comes to basses.

Sorry to hear that.. I personally love the offset body shape.. but I can understand why some don't. And.. if you don't like the looks.. you're not likely to want to play it.

Hopefully it will grow on you.

+1 on all counts... I can understand, as his looks are different, but the offset body still is one of my all time faves at this point. I love the easy access. Since I don't do sixers, I use the higher zones to do chording a lot of times.

Hopefully it will grow on you.
It won't. It's up for sale because he can't keep both, and the above feelings officially makes this bass available to the first person with money per his ad in the forsale section.

That was amazingly fast... even without rehearsal or a gig... odd... shame... VERY sorry to hear it.

I'm actually slowly falling in love with this bass.... I am finding out it has tons of balls compared to my Roscoe, and it is considerably lighter. I think I may just hold onto it a bit longer than a day...;)
