I'm working on another set. This one will be a multi-track using various pickup configurations for the different tracks. I've recorded the drum track, just need to find the time to do the rest. Keep checking.

Awesome! Mike/Tom, what autowah were you using on the Chameleon track? I'm looking for a good one and most of what I've tried robs the low end too much. That one sounded great.

I was at the shop today, thought I would post a few pics. There are about 4 bodys joined and rough cut right now. I'd wager by the end of this coming week, there will be many more than that. So, there should be a lot more eye candy real soon, so be on the lookout.

KJung's Body. Pete was sanding it today when I got to the shop. The top is glued on and the body is joined. Should be rough cut real soon.

No, not walnut, an imbuia topped Lion's Pride rough cut body. This top is stunning, looks like chocolate.

Well I have been over on the skjoldplayers forum and the current batch is progressing nicely. I have a ordered a couple of Pete's newest offering the "Lion's Pride" jazz bass. (note Pete's quote: "This is not a jazz bass though, only in the treatment of the shape")
Thought that my TB brothern would be interested in the birth of these amazing masterpieces from Pete Skjold. Here are some pics of my two. The first one i am very excited about it is a Fretless PJ5 style with a different pickup design from a standard P. Tom B. already has a thread about this design,

So, I will just say it utilizes Pete's C4 at the neck and a SC-1 at the bridge

1. Fretless
PJ5 Mahogany body, Spalted Maple top, Ebony board.

2. Fretted
Ash body, Myrtle Burl top, Birdseye Maple board

Spalted Quilted top - no color/burst... JUST enough tint to pop the grain and that's all.

matching heel/headstock lams
Custom preamp... possibly with blend instead of selector, but not sure I wanna' give up the series mode...
