LOL. I play metal almost exclusively, and I can read.
Here are a few places that I've seen having the Vamps, as I have always kinda wanted one. They look evil and sound great from what I've played.

Snakeman -

Bass Central has pricing for them:

Rocket Music has been known to have them, but do not see any in stock right now.

Where can you get replacement hardware for a Warwick other than their website, which seems costly to me (correct me if the prices are fair)?

I am getting a fretless Corvette soon (my dream bass :D) and it will be my main. I would prefer to switch to black hardware but am unsure where to get it. Thanks!

Also, has anyone had any experience with Seymour Duncan Antiquity IIs in a fretless 'vette? It seems like it would be a killer combo.... Although the stock MECs are beast.

Hanser music is the U.S. provider of warwick parts. You can generally get what your looking for from them, but your still going to pay a pretty penny to switch all your parts for black.

does anybody have an FNA LTD 2004 in 5 string? I have a 4 stringer and I want to trade (maybe add some cash) towards the same bass in a 5 string version?

still tryuing to sell my Dolphin Pro 2 in white, my Thumb BO5 and my Katana BO5 here on the forum ...

can I get a number?

G'day Aaron.
The Streamer's more of a line,than just one model mate.
There's the Streamer LX-bolt on,P/J pickups(4 string),active eq,maple body,ovangkol neck,wenge fingerboard,broadneck option on 5 & 6 string.(Some are non broad neck tho).
Streamer Stage 1-neck through,P/J pickups(4 string),maple neck/body,wenge fingerboard,5 & 6 string models are broadneck.
Streamer Stage 2-neck through,afzelia body,ovangkol body,wenge fingerboard,yinyang inlays,j style pickups,3 band eq,no 6 string option.
That's basically it with some changes in neck woods over the years.Which Streamer are ya looking at in particular?

Here is my much beloved '04 Katana 5 string French Violet. Ooh La La. Very sweet, punchy, growly and cuts through like a hot sword through butta............

I was thinking about the steamer stage 1
Are they good for funk? :D
They are my favourite looking bass ever
So if you could tell me what they are like it would be great

AaronD: The stage 2 is my suggestion: lovely dry/sweet tone, you can fit it in to pretty well any mix. If you're not used to playing Warwick's you may find it unforgiving at first, since a poorly fretted note will buzz at you, but you'll get used to the responsiveness of it soon enough and find that it's very expressive.

I will be sure to try both if I can before buying one.
Who knows I might not even like them.!
Is there a big difference between the sound and feel of the streamer stage 1 and 2?

There's a few more Streamer models I forgot to mention.
Streamer Jazzman-Bolt on,ash bodt,maple top,ovangkol neck,wenge fingerboard,3 band eq,passive MM style pickup in the bridge,passive J style pickup in the neck.
Streamer $$-swamp ash body,maple neck,wenge fingerboard,passive MM style humbuckers x 2 with 3 way coil tapping toggle switches x 2,2 band active eq.
Streamer Chrome Tone-basically a Streamer LX with a fancy chrome finish which is now discontinued.
I dunno why I just didnt link you up with the website in the first place.I guess I got carried away,once I got started.
