So I want in...all I used to use was warwicks and after yesterday I'm down to only one but my thumb will never leave my possession
My '89 fretless Thumb NT is also my numero uno, in fact, it's my only bass at all, as I sold my Musicman recently. It's a joy to play, aside from notes on the first fret being a little far away.
I'd love to join the club! Found this nice passive '08 Corvette on clearance at Guitar Center. It's just a blast to play, sounds great in every situation so far, and my very first 5 string, too. LOVE it!

Just picked up a BO thumb 5 a few months ago. Former owner of a custom shop FNA 4 as well.

Sorry, I'm looking to buy the Korean Corvette 6 strings. I just want some input from people who play them. And I think here is probably the best place to ask.
Just got my Korean Corvette 5 this week and....love it.
Played through German made and now Korean made and...well....prepares to get flammed....I really couldn't tell the difference.
Played perfectly right out of the box and so set up issues weren't an issue for me at all and the bonus of it being waaaaaaay cheaper also came into play as this is my back up for my Sadowsky.
In my mind I'm thinking I would love to have an original German Corvette but I suppose it comes down to the old Fender MIA - MIM - MIJ threads on quality.
I'll be straight up and come out and say I am in no way a conasseur of Warwicks, I have owned a few ( even in the old "Baseball Bat neck days ) but I do know a well set up and sounding Bass and I think the Korean Corvette I got ticked all these boxes for me.
I had the same misgivings about my old Lakland Skyline due to the fact that it was Asian built but that again disappeared when I played it live as well. -Immaculate setup straight out of the box.

Thanks for the input. I used to own German corvette and I loved it. Now, I want to buy a 6 strings and from the price it seems like the most reasonable choice on the market now.
Too bad, the store that sells WW in my country said that the 6 is out of stock for now. Have to wait until April, the least.
So does anyone actually run this thread and give out numbers or is it a lost cause to request a number again
because an arbitrary number assigned to you by someone whom has no power over your life is SO important.
Daywalker gives out the numbers. It took him a few days to PM me back, but he did eventually. Hope that helps...
yeah it is in a couple years when the worlds going to end apparently i would like to know what number i was in the warwick club then i could die a little bit more relaxed

sorry i dont have the time to sit and read through 30+ pages some of us have do have work outside of bass playing.
You don't have to go through 30+ pages... its written on this page before you posted.

not only that, but the tone in which you requested one with was pretty negative. as if you were saying.. "I've read through al this crap.. now can i just have stupid number? or is someone lazier than me? "

Since I'm a pretty negative person it probably did and no there probably isn't someone lazier than me, why sit and read when I could be doing something like playing my bass or just having a beer and relaxing. Simply just wanted a number but if you can completely depict tone and rudeness from simple text then I guess you're a little better than me
