That is Stunning!Actually, it was this one. There are very few quilt maple MVPs out there. This may be the only quilt maple buzz with a maple fretboard he ever made.

There’s at least one more. Don’t recall where I found this a good number of years ago – maybe on ebay. It’s not the same bass because the fret markers are white.
But I must say, that 4-string example that @Tomppp has is the most insane quilt I’ve ever seen!

Looks like the OP has not been active. I hope player and bass are OK.
Sad.I bought a Pedulla bridge and tuning pegs in 2019 from him, but he never got around to sending it again after it was returned because of a bad address. Tried a lot of ways to reach out to him, even to (presumed) family via FB, but no luck. I'm afraid he is no longer around.
Well, i can only speak for myself, but there's at least one vulture in here waiting to descend on a fresh 'for sale' posting. No Pedulla yet, but been wanting one for 20+ yearsWe're Pedulla fans! We're keeping them!

My 17.5 Rapture JJ 5 has EMG’s and a VVT knob setup with a battery and I’ve never pulled the pickguard to check it out. It tends to be very bright and I need to warm it up a bit but overall it plays and sounds great, just a bit more bright with the EMG’s. Maple fb as well. I prefer a Vol and pickup sweep versus the VVT set up.Has anyone ever refretted a Pedulla with Stainless Steel frets or EVO Gold? If so - what was your experience before/after? I’ve had one instrument with SS frets and noticed a difference in both the attack and the very very high end. But maybe a little concerned that SS could push the all-maple recipe into too much brightness.
Also curious if any folks have had any good luck replacing stock J-J Rapture electronics with something like passive single coils + series/parallel switch + passive tone + 2 or 3 band pre-amp. Would love a little more open single-coil/passive tone but again not sure how that would affect the magic Bart + Pedulla recipe. My Raptures are the best-recording basses I’ve played, and also the only basses I’ve owned that sound fan-freaking-tastic with literally any kind of strings.
I don’t think it would work with the current Bart pre, the 2x I talked to Mike P. back in the day he said the pickups were buffered before they hit the blend/EQ so passive tone wouldn’t work as intended.
Is this MVP still available?I've posted a couple from my collection for sale on Boston Craigslist:
