The Reverend Club (Part 2)

You could be right on that. According to the American Basses book, only the BH5 came with the upgraded hardware, and the book could well be wrong. It's been so long since Reverend was taking any orders on basses that I have no way of knowing what custom options were available back then. :hmm:

Ahh, for the days when you could just order the 'fish you wanted . . .

<sigh>

Nearly all of the non-BH5 Reverends I've ever seen (except for knife's new fish and maybe one other) had the standard tuners and bridge. I figured those folks had just swapped out the tuners on theirs.

You can take my word on this one, man. The tuners and a maple fretboard were definitely options. After a while they stopped offering maple fretboards, and I don't know if/when the tuners stopped being an option.

I just saw on the local news that there is a big fire near Underwood, WA that has burned several homes to the ground.

All of a sudden it hit me . . . TBer and fellow 'fisherman 4mal lives in Underwood. I've been to his home. It's not a big town by any stretch.

I'm just hoping Mal is OK. :eek:

Grab that 'fish and run, Mal!!!

I let my right index fingernail grow a little, so I was almost getting a pick sound. The stage was small and I was standing right in front of the rig, with the keyboard player sitting in front of me. All I could hear was me and him. The SVT's volume was on about 2, and after one song the soundguy asked me to turn down!

I'm not a big enuff fan of the SVT-or it's size and weight-to own one, but when you walk in and it's sitting there, it does make you smile;)
As close as I can get is here:

I have the 400 head to go with the cabs, it's down for service right now. The walkabout does a damn good job tho. The Diesels are re-loaded with 3015 Kappalites, which shaved 20% off each cab-almost 35lbs, and they kill.

So, I had a gig last night, and I played my Fender. I feel dirty, like I was unfaithful to the 'Fish. I wonder if they're mad.
Backline was provided and it was an SVT/8x10, so I had to hear the P-bass through that. It sounded like a chainsaw cutting through another chainsaw.

You should be reported to PeTA for 'Fish neglect :p

Thoughts and prayers headed out to Mal :(
