So I just picked up a set of Reverend P pickups. Now I'm going to need someone to lend their PJ guard as a template so I can have a PJ guard made as well. I'm thinking of installing quick connects so I can go back and forth in a matter of minutes. So who's up for lending me their PJ pickguard? ;)

The Rev I'm getting next week has two PGs -- one PJ and one JJ. At some point I'm going to try it out in JJ mode, and I might be able to lend you my PJ pickguard at that point. Not sure when that will happen, but probably in the next couple weeks. :hmm:

Alternatively, someone could make a tracing and send it to you.

That's my old Reverend. :) Either way is fine with me, but I think the tracing would need to be mapped out in CAD so it has to be exact.

at any rate, i thought they were out there...

The second guy definitely makes them, because every time I search for "Reverend Rumblefish" on ebay, I get this listing, for a B/W/B Reverend PJ pickguard. $30, brand new. Not sure what color you're looking for, but he could probably make you one. It will be a while before I convert mine to JJ mode and have the PJ pickguard available, so you might want to order it anyway . . .

Hey Sham, I've got an extra PJ Guard hanging around here. If you still need one I'd be happy to lend it to you.

FLKnifemaker's Bugeye JJ showed up here last night.
Neat axe, and the VVT JJ is definately a different thing than the 5L VT/mini switch JJ...
The tone pot, in typical Rev fashion, has a lot of usable travel in it. I like that.
The VVT setup doesn't change things as dramatically as my 62 RIJ, or the G&L JB2, but ti still works the same.
FL; what strings are on there?
It's pretty bright, even thru a MusicMan HD150/RH115 cab...

Glad it arrived safe and sound. They are the strings that came with it from Folmeister. I think he said they were Fenders. I never had time to put a fresh set of Knuckleheads on it..................:crying:
