Hey guys, the IRS is bending me over and................. :eek:

Long story short my quarterly bill is astronomical, about 4X what our accountant guessed. It's not all bad, because it's mainly taxes on property my Mom left us more so than regular biz income taxes. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

I need to liquidate some basses and the way things are selling down below, I'll probably end up moving the Reverends. I just sold a nice rifle today as well :( I still have some nice basses to play so I'll be OK :D

38 and only one fish in the collection.....In regards to new Reverends, my guitar player is the Artist Relations person at Reverend, there will be a new Reverend bass....I know the name, but am sworn to secrecy....Sorry

I found this interesting. I was looking at Reverend pickguards and Pickguardian makes them for Rumblefish in a variety of colors and styles.

Thanks for the link.

I'm normally a big fan of tort, but not with blue. I think white pearloid would look bitchen on that bass.

FWIW, I think I'll probably be selling my 5L in a few weeks. I think I really should try to limit my bass collection to seven so everything gets played reasonably often. It's too dang good of a bass to sit in its case, and I find myself reaching mostly for my BH5 or my Metro when I'm in a five-string mood.

Tort with LBP can look very nice. I just don't know about the baby blue. I'm thinking pearloid might just be the ticket though.

The white Fish head your way, which will be going to it's 4th club member, is a beauty indeed. I always wanted to put a tort guard on it, but I never saw Reverends on pickguardian until now. Take good care of her and she'll treat you real good!

Thanks. If I end up with it in JJ mode, I'll most likely get a black PG for a classy look. I wanted to get one for my 5L, but hadn't run across a place that would do it for under $60 until you posted that link today, and had generally been too lazy to get moving on it. Someone else posted a pic of a white Rev with a black PG, and I thought it looked fantastic. Reverend is still showing that they have black PGs for the XLs for $20, so I think I'll order one for the newcomer.

So I just picked up a set of Reverend P pickups. Now I'm going to need someone to lend their PJ guard as a template so I can have a PJ guard made as well. I'm thinking of installing quick connects so I can go back and forth in a matter of minutes. So who's up for lending me their PJ pickguard? ;)
