Same here...I had DA XL170's on there most recently. I like the little bit of mid scoop, and little bit more top end the hibeams have, for this bass.

+1. That is pretty darn cool. And the turquoise bass is awesome. My favorite color for a 'Fish. It just screams '57 Chevy.

My first Rev was Turquoise... :crying:

Yep, 'twas a sad day for me to let that PJ go. It's a great bass, but GAS (and good deals) for US Laklands got the best of me.:o But it's going to a good home, I know BL from the Lakland shop.

I come away from this experience very impressed with Reverends, you guys are right to dig'em. The neck was very comfortable, the bass was well-balanced and it really roared. I may dip my toes in the pond again some day.:)

Pics soon to come, as I am lining up all of my children for a family pic! Thanks for the weclome, And yes, I do find the fish to be VERY tasty!

The irony about this purchase is that I secretly pined to test drive a Rumblefish for a few months when a yellow PJ (my favorite pkup config) shows up @ the Lakland shop. I took it for a spin and was hooked!!! Looked for one for over a year! I finally gave up untill just recently I was notified that the very same bass that I tested was for sale!!! Fate is a mother!!!!
