Yep they will fit in the Gator universal cases. My Mercalli 5 is currently sitting in the Gator ATA shown in the attached pic and I had the lightweight case for my Mercalli 4 before, both of these have the same internal dimensions. Decision P fits in these cases too.anyone know if a mercalli or decision will fit in any cases other than the reverend ones?
What a beauty!I've been an unofficial member of the Reverend Club for a few years now but stumbled upon this thread and wanted to share appreciation for my Mercalli 4! This holds a special place in my heart since it was my first "fancy" bass purchase that hurt my wallet, and it's probably the most unique looking and quality bass I'll ever own.
It's a physically large bass relative to most others I have played, yet it's the among the lightest. The neck is quite wide as well but the fret radius makes it a pretty flat fretboard for fast playing, and the neck finish and feel are just perfect. And I love the versatility that the pickup blend knob gives you for tone. Can't recommend these guys enough.

This looks awesome. I picked my orange (copper fire I think technically) Mercalli but I was really torn between that and the light blue 20th anniversary Mercalli. Wish I could've done both! This is why I purchased my 25th Decision P on the spot.
Just look at that color.
Reverend needs to update some of its colors and top finishes.

How do you like the latest version of the fatfish?
The medium scale is oh so easy and both the neck and the fretboard are sublime. Tone is different to anything else I have. In short I like it a lot!How do you like the latest version of the fatfish?
dangHey all, Times are tough around here and I've just lowered the price on my 2013 Mercalli 5 to $800 to help with some unexpected vet bills this month. I'm not playing it much so it should go to someone who will rock it more often.
Comes with a Levy's strap and EB straplocks.

For any fans it's a great deal and way under what I think it's worth. But it has to move on.
Has not sold yet and honestly, I hope it does not. I actually can't believe how tough the market for basses is right now.dang![]()
To be fair, the market is super tough for all used gear right now. Patience is key.Has not sold yet and honestly, I hope it does not. I actually can't believe how tough the market for basses is right now.
I pulled it off the wall and played with it for a few hrs last night and then pulled the ad. Just can't let it go.To be fair, the market is super tough for all used gear right now. Patience is key.
Sounds like that was the right thing to do! Congrats on your NRBD (newly retained bass day).I pulled it off the wall and played with it for a few hrs last night and then pulled the ad. Just can't let it go.
