Here's my "Ric-that-got-away"... sold it a couple of years ago.
it's a 1979 3001. It was lovely. Trouble is - I had a money grabbing (now ex-) wife... you can guess the rest.

Anybody in the club have huge hands? I do and I've been set on buying a Ric for a year or two....and am just a little hesitant about my mitts. I'm 6'8 with giant hands to match, but the chunky neck on my Hamer isn't as fast as the Ric's neck...so yeah, is it comfortable for anyone out there with large hands?
Well Chris Squire has huge hands (he's about 6'4" but his hands are large even on him; I know, I've shaken hands with him). He also has a 60s Ric, and their necks are absolutely tiny, much thinner than those built now. So I don't think it will be a problem, assuming you like thin necks.
