The Squier Mini Precision Bass Club

Yes - all Bing users are doing Thanksgiving together this year, and since it is such a small group, the group restrictions for covid will not be exceeded. :)

I still use Google sometimes, if Bing does not serve up the results which I'm anticipating.

Google keeps changing how they do things, and one of their most recent changes annoyed me a lot, so I now use Bing first most times.

When I click on a search result link, I like it to automatically open into a new tab, and for many years, Google search would let me set it to behave exactly that way, and Bing still does.

Nowadays, in some of my newer Mozilla-based [related to FireFox] browsers, Google does not offer me the ability to set it that way, and I absolutely REFUSE to use their browser Chrome, for other longstanding reasons, for the possibility that it might behave better in that one regard.

That's part of why I use Bing.

BTW, there is ANOTHER connection between a rabbit and Bing.

A friend told me Bing is preferred by people who like to search for photos of naked women, because those are filtered by Google. Just sayin'... ;)

Bass Player mag just did what I'd call a really sloppy review of the Squire Mini P and the Jackson Minion... Said the Minion weighed 6.2 lbs, and the Mini Squire weighed 8.35 lbs! (Same almost as a full-scale P? Really?) IMO the reviewer also spent way too much of his ink denigrating small scale basses in a totally unnecessary comparison to full scale ones instead of talking about the basses he had up for review.
Anyway he said they both had inferior tone until you pre-amped them and then they'd probably be okay. (Really? So do people ever buy one of these because of their un-amped sound?). Also he wrote that the Minion was the better of the two and actually was "one of the best" short scale basses he ever played. -But I didn't see any solid details or reasoning to back this opinion up...
I'm pretty sure the Squire Mini P Bass comes in at about 6.5, not 8.5 lbs. And IMO the rest of this article about these two small basses looks like the reviewer didn't think they were 'real' basses, and just slapped together a very careless review.
