Wow...If you posted that list here, it would be eternally posted for all to reference...and not waste hours on crappy episodes

Ah, looks like I'm ok Star Trek will remain on Netflix UK as several series depart US streaming service
The Seven of Nine/Chakotay relationship at the end was so stupid. I’m watching some episodes before it’s gone. Chakotay walks into the room and says something pithy and Seven gives a restrained smile and there’s zero chemistry. I don’t think they ever kissed on screen.

It was cute and realistic between a hot and emotionless but confidant woman and a nerdy younger guy without confidence or experience. Her and Chakotay were just silly.
“Seven should be in a relationship with someone.”
“You know there’s only a few episodes left right?”
“Yeah, but she should be in a relationship. How about Chakotay? Paris is married and Kim is kinda pathetic.”
“Ummm, okay.”

I'm watching Enterprise, some of the scenes with T'Pol and Archer are interesting... they obviously took a lot from Seven's character for T'Pol. Can't wait to see where that goes (no spoilers!). Actually they should have paired up Seven with B'Elanna at the end of Voyager.
Voyager was my least favourite series until Discovery, primarily because of the characters.
But somehow I like Ensign Kim.
I don’t dislike Kim, but he wasn’t interesting or likable enough to be a main character. Paris was actively annoying but he got way more character development and better stories.

In Picard, his parenting ability is talked about in regards to Daj or Saj or Dashi or whatever her name was, who Picard knew for about a week at that point. I think Troi says he’s never been a parent. I guess everyone forgot how he was a father and grandfather for decades in the Inner Light. He told everyone. He had to write a report for Starfleet. Classes were probably taught on it.

Captain Kirk is finally headed to space for real. According to TMZ, William Shatner plans to be part of the next civilian crew to fly aboard Blue Origin's spacecraft. If it happens, Shatner, 90, will be the oldest person to visit space, taking the record from Wally Funk, 82, who in July joined Jeff Bezos and two other private citizens for a short jaunt past the edge of space. Wonder if Bezos will rename his rocket the Enterprise.

Not related to Star Trek, slightly related to the storyline of "a running firefight to the escape pods". Triggered a story my older brother told me years ago.
He was a Marine in Vietnam. He and some Marines were in a direct firefight with the enemy and had called in a helo (H-46 derivative) to get them out. Helo landed, the Marines are fighting all the way to the helo. They climb aboard and...no takeoff.
They looked forward and saw the pilots scrambling out of the helo. The enemy's fire had screwed up the engines/hydraulics, etc.
So now the Marines had to abandon the helo and firefight their way back into action.
Fortunately he survived, not all did.
Sorry about the interruption. But the way Riker relayed the story brought back that memory back from decades ago. That whole Star Trek scene was good.
And now back to our regularly scheduled thread, "The Star Treks"!...
Here’s a good scene featuring a ‘splosion. Just one, with justified build up and tension.
Scenes like that made me a big fan of Enterprise. Stuff didn't always work, and when things didn't work, you had to improvise. Quickly. Sort of like real life.
They did a great job at making the ship and the crew appropriately ignorant and vulnerable to what’s out there.
