Perfect to keep the finger warm during gigs outside in november but be aware of shock hasard with 300 volts at your fingers and feet in cold snow.:confused:

I obviously routed things such that the high voltage is kept far away from anywhere your fingers are going to be :P On the offchance something does go wrong there's a power switch to remove power to the preamp so you can finish your set with it as a passive bass. I consider it 100% a gimmick and conversation piece, not a practical gigging instrument, but I tried to design it to be as practical as possible.

Secured a Dr Wattson, arriving this week. Clearing board space and this is my first tube pedal, do people usually put this pre, post, or in a loop with modulation (phaser/chorus/flanger)?

Same question for octave or envelope filters?

I have a couple loop pedals and just curious how people typically use them. I'll have a couple gain stages before so I can drive the pedal appropriately for the song.

I use my Sushi Box Underground Accelerator as final stage cleanish preamps on my pedal boards.
main board 2022.jpg This board has the HWUA currently and my 'nother board has the original UA.

My Smoke Signal is in a loop on a board with other distortions for a project I'm working on and the Particle Accelerator is on my recording set up.

@NKBassman I really love what the MORE is doing to my sound but it is hard to put a description into words, I will say it is a pedal that I might NEED a second one [or MORE of] as I keep ripping it out of my recording setup to use everywhere else.

I used to have a Deep Dish compressor which it's based on so I've got a pretty good idea of what it does. Reinventing that circuit as a preamp may or may not have been my idea previously in this thread :p.

It follows the control layout of the HWUA. I did the EQ left master/gain right originally because it was the only way I could get the routing to work with the big gap between the two sides of the board. I prefer to do it this way, but this is only possible when the tube is pushed to one side.

WRT the gain range on the Elementary,

Where does it leave off (when dimed), and the DW pick up?
