Yeah, that's more expensive than the stand, but definitely more portable. I do think there's velcro on it, which may cause rapid carpet wear, tho it would definitely improve stability.
Just priced out a stand at GC for $39 - any excuse to try out some new basses.
I need to check the price on the spring handle.
Played my LMII/PS112 rig at church this Sunday and was totally stoked, except for needing to tilt it back a bit. Elevated stage is either boomy or sounds hollow. Sounded hollow yesterday. (I believe the subs weren't on.)

Comes in at about $22 and I could do 2 cabs if I wanted. Making this easy, ain'tcha.
I know I liked them on my EA cabs and they did help. I don't see myself selling this cab, so it would probably make sense to go ahead and do it.

I've shopped with these guys before... I even have one of these layin' around and some rubber feet... but I might do my own experiment.

I'm going to buy LMII within 2 or 3 weeks. Also, I want to buy not too big (2x10, 1x12", 1x15" speakers) markbass cab with it, but I just don't know which of them.
I want it to be loud enough to play in bigger clubs (around 300 of people). It'll also have to cut through 2 guitars rock band and on the other side to work in funky-jazz situations as well.
First I wanted standard 2x10 but after I saw traveler version I just don't know, traveler is so small (and is cheaper) but it has got different tweeter and rear bass ports (if it really changes sth).
Can anybody compare those two cabs (standard 2x10 and traveler 2x10)? And what about 12" and 15" speakers? now I'm playing through 4x10 cab, it has enough lows but will smaller 10" speaker cab manage to do this?
If there are any mistakes, excuse, my english isn't very good

Yeah, I was talking total (2 handles, 8 feet - 2 cabs done!).
Edit: How tall are the handles when retracted? Trying to figure out which feet to get for the handle not to contact the floor when retracted.

All i can say is that from my experience the 151P is a good "other" cab but not as a stand alone. when i had mine not only did the band say they couldnt hear me but it was the only time i have ever turned my SA450 up nearly all the way.
Of course it all depends on what tone you want/like and how loud you play but for me it was the worse cab i have owned as far as a stand alone, 1x15. When i took it back to the shop we A/B'ed it with a Epifani UL115. same LMII and bas etc and i couldnt believe the difference. It was like the UL115 was a full sounding, loud cab and sounded very nice. lots of lows but can get slap broght if needed. The 151P was all just loose low end and no mids. The Highs were ok but there seemed to be a big hole in the tone and i felt it couldnt do the volume side.
But maybe that was just me (and the store owner)
Well it says the rubber grip is 3/4", and I think that's bigger than the metal part, so I'd figure at least that tall. These are either Penn-Elcom H1053K or copies of same. It's pretty much what everybody uses.

Like i say it might just be me. I know others do use it alone but after trying out the UL115 i can see just how lacking it was.
I rember posting about this and Pete Murray said he thought the 1x12 went lower with more punch and works better as a stand alone. i have read reviews backing this up.
I see they have changed the size of some of the cabs. maybe the new ones sound better. I guess you can only go so small before tone or volume suffers and the 151P is the smallest 1x15 i have ever seen although i know Ashdown do some small ones as well.

People using one 2x10 cabinet do tend to prefer the STD 102HF, because since it's a bigger, front-ported cabinet, it has more bottom end and a bigger sound. The high end is also a bit smoother with the horn instead of the piezo tweeter on the TRV 102P.
Although it has a surprising amount of bottom end, the Traveler 102P is probably best in combination with another cabinet or a combo, or, if you're only playing small gigs and portability is very important to you.
So it depends on the size of gigs you're playing, and how important portability is to you.
FYI, the redesigned STD 102HF is 22.6 kg, the Traveler is 15 kg.

Did you folks get any paperwork for the warranty? I didn't even get a receipt. I called the GC I bought it from and asked the guy to send me my receipt so he said he would print one out and send it, but when I asked about warranty paperwork he said my receipt was all I needed.
I'm told it takes 2-4 weeks to get the paperwork for the warranty, but not to worry because they have a record of you on file, which is POP enough for them. Still tho, good to have your own copy. I'm sure they can send it.
Peter, is there any ETA (and price) on the MicroMark for the US? How about the CMD 121H? GC told me they are not stocking the CMD 121H, just the Mini CMD 121P. I'd LOVE to try the 121H before I buy the 121P.

Vic's right. It take 2-4 weeks to get the paperwork - from the entity contracted to do the warranty work. It took that long for me to get mine, but it showed up.
