I finally got the LMII out on a gig last night.... it was a loud one (11 piece). It sounded just like I hoped... amazing. I was using it with the 1212L/Celinder rig in a large room. While the small Schroe's will always have that distinct low mid punch tone, the deep bass and surprising power of the LMII really provided more thunder than I've ever achieved with the little Schro... punched like crazy though. I brought the 1212L versus my typical 410UL due to this room being very boomy and 'mushy' (wooded stage, 40' ceilings, hard floor, large space (and the load in being simply terrible). The tightness of the 1212L really worked wonderfully regarding note definition and punch. I used the 1212L with the TF in this room before, and while it sounded OK, it was actually a little too compressed in the lows, and the highs did not really jump out of the cab. Not a problem with the LMII.
Really amazing sounding..... even pounding the B at high volumes remained tight, clean, and full. I can't imagine what the SD800 with my large cab will sound like over the next few days.
And, as others have pointed out, the amp didn't even get warm after 4 solid ours of aggressive, loud playing.
They really do have something here!!!!
