Hey Nino, just another curiosity question but since you learned a lot of stuff from working with Sadowsky Guitars, enough to venture on your own and build your own basses, what attribute or skill do you think you learned that was most beneficial to you learning to build basses at the level that you do and how would you rate the craftsmanship of your basses to the ones you built at Sadowsky? I'm sure you want to keep some sort of unique characteristic that your basses have that others don't but it just seems that Sadowsky is the standard of quality around these threads. I was wondering how your basses compared to Sadowsky basses in your honest opinion.

I know one of these weeks soon im going to see my Valenti on the wood floor..

Im so excited im ready to explode.. Finally after gassing for ever I will own my dream Valenti.. WOOOHOOO

Im like a kid on christmas eve... But Santa Valenti can take his time as long as he hurrys up LMAO hahaha just kidding Nino..

I had jobs Thurs/Fri/2xSat/Sun this week.
#'s 18 and 23 got real thorough workouts.

I didn't manage to get any pics of the Inca Silver P/J (wrong crowd to hand my camera to!), but I did get a few snaps of the Geddy Vee.

A couple of observations:
Quality and playability of these is just aces!
I hadda raise the action on both of them...my right hand is too used to jackin' around a DB. Even my ''light touch'' ends up being fairly heavy handed, and both of these basses are capable of action so low that all I could do was make "a lot of clanks and buzzes."

Nords pair well with both the Audere and Ag OBP3.
To my ear, the Audere sounds "much more passive," which I like a lot, especially in the J bass context.
At home, I really didn't care for the Ag preamp very well; but live, man, that works really really well. mUch better than I thought it would.

Gig:
"The Budweiser Inn" in Jefferson City, south of Columbia.
Band: Shea and The Silver Streak. Shea's a feamle singer, "The Silver Streak" is the former guitar player...or, maybe me. My hair ain't gettin' any blacker I guess.

I used #23, the Silver P/J the night before, but failed to get evidence. Both basses were wicked awesome.

But, you could check The Budweiser Inn; you can find them with google.

I don't know jack about Jeff City.

I'm about 25 miles north, and free after 5pm, I think...

Not exactly what you asked, but I have an '07 MIA Deluxe V, and its neck is pretty similar to the one on my new Valenti. I think the Valenti neck is slightly bigger all 'round, but the shape is similar, and is rounded in a very smooth gentle curve- very comfy.

Nino, I'm loving this bass BTW! It actually has more grind than I initially heard when playing it the first few times, as the preamp I was using then has a very dark quality. With a pre that has a clearer high end, this P has some teeth! The one thing is the low B string (Sadowsky flat) isn't suiting me- but I will resolve that with a new string choice soon.
