Ranting about how other branches of the service were metal once upon a time and then apologizing for it, NOT METAL.

Don't apologize, be proud of what you are and what it means to be who you are. THAT is what sets Marines apart from other services. We are that effin badass and we won't ever apologize for it.

You've got to admit though, Burzum's second ambient album he made in prison "Hliðskjálf" (yes, I just copied and pasted the name from wikipedia) was very good!!! Very calming whilst I'm doing my homework. Not very metal of me I know... :smug:

Funny thing about metal, it's all about war and warriors, but there are no old warriors. Only old singers of war songs.

Things I learned as a member of Uncle Sam's Misguided Children. Don't know if they are metal or not so I'll let the experts decide.

There is a lot more blood in a human body than you can ever imagine. Or maybe it just looks like a lot more when you are watching it run out in person.

There is no reset button on a firearm.

A dog will not eat dog meat, even after it's been cooked. Humans will eat dog meat, but usually find it too stringy for their liking unless boiled.

Ears strung up on a necklace will not rot, they will dry out and become leathery looking. Do not use cotton string for this. It will rot before the ears dry out and you will loose your ear collection and have to start all over again.

A partially de fleshed pelvic bone of the correct size can be turned in such a way that it looks like a mask with back swept wings and eyeholes. When equipped with a piece of cord to hold it on over your face it will scare the life out of someone when you jump out at them from the dark wearing it.

I was in the USMC, but I'm also SFOS my eyes are brown...is that metal?
