When I was a kid, my dad bought a gas powered, toy airplane and he would take us the local airport parking lot and we would fly it around there. The parking lot was only a few yards from the runway. Could you imagine doing something like that today?

A kid in my neighborhood had a car version of that plane. I will never forget the smell of that fuel!

Lol. I smelled it when I read that. I had one of the cars too. I posted it a while back. I wanted the cox dune buggy. My parents bought me the Baja Bug, which was a few dollars cheaper. I actually liked it more, but thought the other one had to be better cuz, well.... it cost more.
A bunch of neighborhood kids playing sand lot baseball.

In the late 50s my brother, sister and I used to race ones like this. Were called Micro Midgets back then. Not a picture of one of ours. Don't think there are any surviving pictures.
Lived at Two Guys parents bought my first electric bass from there/ Worked part-time toys and season in Bradlees in the 90's
