this looks like a Bass from Rondo...

This just went up on his site!!

"It has been brought to my attention that there is incorrect information provided on my website. However I have not been able to talk with my web tech to see. With this altercation brought to my attention, I have desided to pull selected links off my website temp. I'm sorry for the inconvenance. I will personally evaluate all of this sites contents to assure it's accuracy. I will be back up and running as soon as possible. Thanks so much.
Matthew Loren McIntosh"

Also, his links aren't working anymore....

I'm sorry, if you can unlink the links and put up that text warning, you can change the content of the site. The web tech is him, apparently.

Hey Joe,
I guess he thought I was the one that called him, so I guess some of this reply is to you! :D
All I did was very politely ask a few questions and suggest that some friends and I would like to come to one of his appearances and examine his custom work in person.

Uh... I may have mentioned Rondo and ESP, but in a good way, I assure you.

Anyway, here's his Ebay reply:

Dear thangfish,

Well I can't thank you enough for you initiative to call log distance to notify me on an aboundant amount of incorrect information that my website was providing. I apoligize if I was at all short with you over the phone, but I did not understand the situation. After reviewing my site I found several flaws. I've talked with my web tech and there has be plenty of misunderstandings while taking pictures from my flash drive. I understand how this may look. And I'm very upset with this misrepusentation of my bussines. I've done this localy for several years and I take much pride in my instruments and being strait forward with my product. I invite you to revise my website once again after I get back to town to review itmyself. This my take a few days. I thank you for bringing this to my attention once again. I looked at the bass you mentioned from Rondo and I see what your saying. Although there are many differences that I can point out. The paint looking so alike I see where your comming from. As far as meeting me in person... I look forward to doing so. The closest performance to you would be in New Paltz, NY. @ the Moonlight Cafe. I will be sitting in with friends at a open mic. I will also bring my Satin Sunset bass for you to see in person. I thank you so much once again. Please keep in touch.

Dude needs to quit typing. Not so sure spell check would even help.

At the very least I want you to reply and mention that you never called him so he must be confusing you with someone else, and also let him know that you aint in New York. Ask him when he is going to play near cameron, NC. Thanks, Joe

It would be better if he knew you were a different person since he would know that he has more than one set of eyes on him.

so in other words, he has no freakin' idea what is on his own website...
he let his "web tech" do the whole site without even seeing it.
He must be a real idiot...
(I know, He is the web tech)

Yeah...
I thought I remembered an Atlanta show (where I'm actually going) but since his site is pretty much non-functional I can't double check right now.
