Thread to discuss rehearsal food!

I provide coffee, most of the people in my bands don't drink alcohol. We're there to rehearse, not socialize. Not that there's anything wrong with socializing.
Occasionally someone will bring a pizza or two with some beers for rehearsal.
I host rehearsals at my place. There is a fridge in the room if they want to keep the beers they bring with them cold. My wife might make a coffee (espresso) if she’s having one anyway. I might offer a beer if I'm having one, but I don't supply a fridge full. No food is provided.

I have only been in one band that had food at rehearsals, and it was a pretty good sandwich.
I personally don't drink, But I do keep some beer and Vodka in the fridge, along with bottled water, some fruit type drinks, some club soda, and tonic for those who want it. The "Bar" is stocked, but not a lot of variety.
I’ve clearly been going to the wrong rehearsals all these years. Never brought, offered or have been offered food during rehearsal. Usually grab a bag of chips at the gas station afterwards.

we practice in building that has pretty good vending machines, so if anyone doesn't eat before practice, they can grab the usual stuff from those.
We do have a good burrito place and a good pizza place within a block of the space, so once in a while we'll walk in with food and eat while talking bidness.

I like foods that don't leave residue on your hands and instrument. Sliced peppers and dip, carrot sticks, anything on a toothpick, no chips, too salty/greasy.
We haven't rehearsed in awhile, and we typically are just in and out. Beer is usually the only thing on the menu. But we have been known to order the occasional pizza.
In the "no food" group too. We don't waste time though. Everyone knows their parts. Key is already established if there's a change. 2 hours non-stop.

Nope, you're doing it right. I can grab a sandwich after practice, I much prefer cocktails while playing. Of course I don't really eat much. I'm in the food business so mostly food doesn't call to me. A good bottle? Definitely....
I am surprised to see the 'nos' winning tho. I figured most folks would like snacks. Huh....
We rehearse in a rehearsal room we pay for in an industrial area so we usually don't bring food. We used to have a mini fridge till it died. I usually prefer no food at rehearsal. I generally am there to get some work done then move on with my day or evening.
I was in a band for awhile that had a tendency to spend a little too much time (for my tastes anyway) passing around a jar of moonshine. I'm not in that band anymore.
IMHO, eating during a rehearsal is a complete waste of time. And time is money.
