Thunderbird Club Pt.IV

Seems a bit like a pain in the ass that they wil not pass each other.
I'm just saying way not stick with the originel tuners?
Nice and light, just overall good tuners right?

From the practicle side of things I really can't argue your point :D

However from the asethetic side, clovers are too cool, and a great way to give a T Bird a vintage look. :hyper:

I just noticed you have the Thunderbird logo on your arm that is so cool , so what makes you love Thunderbird so much , I myself have always loved Gibson basses in general (grabbers, rippers,rd,Thunderbird I just love Gibson I've never had an attachment to any fenders really.

yeah it looks really nice. those tuners look like the ones that come on a Rickenbacker bass.

do you got the original wiring-diagram from that nice NikkiSixx Bird?.

i love how that bird looks, the nice flame in the wood and what not.
even the case is killer, the red snakeskin.
the bass is to die for

I've always felt the same way, my very first bass was a Japanese copy of a Gibson EB-0, alot of the bass players in the bands I liked back then were Gibson players and I have always liked ALL Gibson basses, they are the path less taken :)
I like fenders.........the ones on my Subaru.

My tattoos (these are they only ones I have), it's a Thunderbird love affair :hyper:

I put the Tbird logo on my shoulder way back when I was 21 that's 30 plus years ago! I got it retouched last year. I have almost always played Thunderbirds and other Gibsons. To me they just sound and play better than Fenders.

Well I got my 4th Epi proIV replacement last week. I must say the vintage sunburst is amazing! Didn't think I'd like it as much as the natural. I think it puts the natural to shame.
This one is a keeper! Nothing wrong with it what so ever. All it needed was a miner set up. It also sounds way different then the natural bird. Darker, not so much high end. Put some DR Black Beauties on her and I think she sounds damn good. Let me know if you all want pics, I'll take some n post em.

I feel the same way. I love the look of a worn sunburst Fender Jazz, but I have yet to play a Fender that matches up with my 'Bird or Ripper.

Same here. I love a good jazz bass. Its a Nice bass to play sitingdown with..
I want One to stick some thunderbird pickups in it.

Nice man. Is it as growly as a thunderbird?
Because it's a different kind of body wood.

Thanks, it does growl. It's alder but the next one will have a genuine honduras mahogany body, same as my vintage Tbirds. Also with a raised center section and traditional TBird electronics locations and TBird style bridge/tailpiece, a true JazzBird.
