Assuming impedances and wiring are sane, 600 watts. Otherwise less.I’m tempted to throw $200 at it…
what would the 6 100w speakers rate it at?
there is also a fubared… I mean “upgraded” ampeg 810..

Not really. One of our sister companies in the 90s went belly up when customers asked them to build some really expensive equipment and then backed out of the volume deal. The large customer with a name starting with a small "i" took delivery of the one and only machine. Programmers, soon to be fired, gave it a serial number of 666. Operators refused to use the machine and the customer had to call up the company execs (all now fired) and beg them to find the programmers that did it and have them change the number. That cost someone a fortune as the programmers held out for a lot of cash.666. It’s a joke, son, AH SAY, a JOKE!
Phil Jones does those cabs with multiples of 5" speakersIn high school, a friend and I wanted to build a speaker cab with a couple hundred ~2” speakers from transistor radios, but we were too lazy and cheap to do it. That was for guitar. I figure you’d want at least double that for bass and it would still suck.
Great song. We were putting this one in before the band fell apart. It's not the most fun song to play on bass, but the singer absolutely owned it. Then the lead guitarist moved to Moscow (right before the invasion), the singer had health issues, and the rhythm guitarist's hands fell apart from arthritis and tendonitis. Ah, well. All things must pass.
Those of you who added pickup rings to your TB ... did you drill or just use double sided tape to hold them on like Steve at Thunderbucker suggests?

I suppose I'm going to have to drill to install the handrest though ...
I drilled for the rings, the covers, and because the Hipshot ultralights had a different setscrew than the original tuners. That's on the Flamingo. It's been refinished. Once you start drilling holes in a Gibson, there's no telling where it will end up.Those of you who added pickup rings to your TB ... did you drill or just use double sided tape to hold them on like Steve at Thunderbucker suggests?

With holes in the body, the headstock becomes relatively heavier and neck dive becomes higher velocity allowing greater range on the flying headstock.Once you start drilling holes in a Gibson, there's no telling where it will end up.
What Gibson/Epi needs to do is start making headstocks outta balsa. Yeah, that's the ticket. With holes in the body, the headstock becomes relatively heavier and neck dive becomes higher velocity allowing greater range on the flying headstock.
Any recordings?Great song. We were putting this one in before the band fell apart. It's not the most fun song to play on bass, but the singer absolutely owned it. That’s hysterical! Smart programmers or the i-word could have just binary edited the file. Not really.
