I've already listened to you enough recently, and it was costly. But it was sage advice I don't regret taking. I've always love NRs for some reason--as much as Reverses--maybe even a little more. But the Reverse feels like it was made fro me.
I got braces and that was the end of my trumpet glory
I play a lot of Jazz.
Yes, all the more reason to have an amp with some steam, if needed.
All I heard was voices....

) It was the first RS LP I bought when it was released. I still have a copy of it. Bill Wyman had the most distinctive playing style of any bass player then - playing his electric like an upright. And as was the fashion then - the first close-up on BW (AKA "the bass player") is at 3:47 into their set. Bill actually gets two close-ups playing and singing harmony during Time Is On My Side.Love the all-star mayhem ending!

Well, today saw the first time since two years that I went to a live show. There was a punk rock matinée held at a local venue I used to frequent before the pandemic put a hold on that.
Anyway, I went there and saw the familiar faces again, “Hey dude, long time no see, how are you?” and all that business, or as we say in my native tongue "Ouwe jongens krentenbrood" (Old guys, raisin bread.)
The music was loud, the sweat dripping off the wall, and everybody had a brilliant time.
So I went outside to catch some fresh air and talk amongst some of my punk rock friends when all of a sudden this guy with a bullhorn appeared from the next door house. He blared something and went inside again. All of us were baffled at first until the guy appeared once more, this time using the siren. At which everybody started laughing, figuring that the guy just had some fun with us and one individual said “Just in time dude, we needed a new singer for our band!”
At which the door opened again and the guy, correctly figuring that thanks to the distortion of the bullhorn, it was impossible to make across what he was saying, just started shouting at the top of his lungs. ''TURN THAT $#!&%*@ NOISE OFF, I'M TRYING TO SLEEP HERE! ALL OF YOU MOVE AWAY OR ELSE I'M GONNA..."
Some walked over to try to calm him down, but the whole atmosphere had changed, and I decided to make myself scarce before things escalated any further.
Yeah, the pandemic kept punk rock shows from happening for over two years, but it apparently also made it that people living next door to the bar could go to bed early.
Yeah, things going back to normal will be something we have to get used to again, in more ways than one.

In the interest of safety of my Thunderbirds, anyone know what kind serpent from hell this is? It was mostly black but when you get close you can see it has some pattern. At first I just thought it a black snake, but it's something else. It was about 3 1/2 ft. Silver bottom. It was looking to get a basement door to my Thunderbirds.

So I have been considering adding a couple of those vintagey leather geetar straps, and have almost bought some on a couple occasions. Just because I think they look cool.
I was gathering parts for the DC bird build and remembered I had some part in the garage..
While I found the parts I was looking for, I also found I already had two of those leather straps…
and after 5 minutes, I remembered why they were in a box in the garage…. that damn pad lookin sumbich slides all over the damn place.

One more reason I love Washington State - There's none of that poisonous bitey stuff here.
Only a few are poisonous here, but I can't stand the slithery sons of satan. Good for nothing but boots and belts.
I'm not sure we have those here. But I claim minimal knowledge.
