How I prefer my .50 cal bullets.

Hey @D.M.N. Your new album is the first album listed on my Spotify New Releases for You feed. I’ll be checking it out tonight.

That's amazing! I hope you enjoy! We're starting our month long residency at Harvard and Stone in Hollywood tonight, so we wanted to drop it to coincide with the shows!

You’re probably right, Fiesta red would be a more traditional Fender color, but they did have CAR so it still counts. Besides, I’ve never been a fan of the Fiesta red hue, I much prefer the deeper darker CAR.

Same; I really love the color on my Redbird - I'd have most of my other 'birds painted that color if I had the $$$

If money were no object(it is), I'd like a 2021 NR refinished in this(Emberglow)color. I had my factory silver 62 Impala painted this color. It looked great-'til I got 'hitandrunned'.:rage::( (Mustangs used a similar colr)

That is a fabulous color!

And a pretty awesome looking car, too :)

Yes, that’s exactly what it is, along with motorcycles, watermelons, tube and SS amps, model railroading and WWII airplanes. Occasionally we get off topic and start talking Fender (referred to as 7ender or FSO) or Rickenbacker basses. :D

Speaking of FSOs......it would seem I have one on the way :jawdrop:

.....I really thought I would get outbid this time.....

Sweet! Don’t see that color often on the Squier basses. And for the record - my bone stock $300 Squier Jazz 5 plays and sounds every bit as good as my $2000 Fender American Deluxe Jazz 5, and I hot rodded the Fender with a John East preamp and Bartolini pups.

If for some reason you don’t like the sound of the Squier you can always drop a pair of Thunderbuckers in it. Can’t wait to see a pic of the Jazz next to your CAR Eppi.

Looks great! Played a Squire some time back after hearing people talk about how nice they are, and it exceeded my expectations. Much better than an old MIM Jazz I had years ago, which felt like a discount brand. I get why people love them. The early 50s Pbass versions have lots of fans. Any plans for it?

Yup, this started life as a Squier:

Besides changing the bland, boring, :rollno: pickguard that so does not go with that color?

....no, not really.
Never played an actual Jazz bass before, only p-basses, so however that results will determine its fate going forward.
If it seems like something i might like to play occasionally, I won't sell it right away, probably.

But that pickguard!
