If the neck doesn’t work with the MIJ body, I have a couple of ideas for it
I see an Epiphone Accu bass listed in Berkeley for $110. P bass equivalent. Interesting that the TR cover says Gibson but the HS says Epiphone.
Us old Deadheads can be goofy but these Canadian Deadheads seem a wee bit goofier !

Great deal. Got mine for $400 including Epi case but had a chip in the finish that required me to learn to do some super glue fix, sand, and polish.

those are actually pretty nice basses, a friend had one with a rosewood fingerboard and it played and sounded like a substantially more expensive instrument…
“ostiones preparados” (oysters deluxe)….. raw oysters topped with shrimp ceviche….
And was totally awesome.
