The finish on mine was quite thrashed when I got it as a teenager. It has one of the nicest necks I’ve ever played.

I'm pretty sure this is where I mutter something about not actually playing bass. I used to (not well, but that hardly seems to be a barrier for entry on this website) but I'm on severe medical restrictions for at least a few more months. It's possible that switching to lefty would be ok, and who knows, I'm a bad enough player that it might not make much difference. I'm pretty sure that I don't at this moment need another bass since there are already two hanging neglected on my wall.
As for housekeeping, if I had a quarter for every time I moved a pickguard thread from Accessories to Hardware....

It is a lot harder than it looks. When I had my L shoulder repaired, I tried. Honestly, I think that the lefties are performing some kind of black magic to pull it off.
As a mod, are you allowed to say things like that?
I'll just interpret that as "yes, I'll take out your garbage"? Since I just took it out this afternoon (before I realized that it is a mod service) probably not necessary until Sunday. And Sunday evening, you can take the garbage to the curb for collection Monday morning. Thanks!!
