Anyone have an opinion on the Music Man Sixty Five tube amp?
I have the Musicman HD150 from the late 1970’s or early 1980’s. It’s a fantastic hybrid amp with a SS preamp and a tube power section. It runs a solid 150+ watts (pretty much as loud as my 400 watt SS amp) and power can be cut in half (down to 75 watts) with the flip of a switch on the front panel. Built solid as a rock, not as heavy as my SVT-VR but no light weight either. Sounds great, fairly clean when needed but overdrive can be dialed in as well.
Never played the 65 or any of the recent releases but there is a MM Amp club on TB where you could probably get more questions answered.

Do any of you think it'd be doable to install the vintage pro bridge , tuners and pickups on a Thunderbird IV? Just curious to know.

not financially, and they aren’t readily available from Epiphone either.

Better to save for a Vintage Pro / 60s Thunderbird (whichever name is in vogue).

Or look for an Embassy to get the same gear in a different shaped bass for less money
